icescan detail (Icescan)

Gothix IceScan (NET Software)

IceScan reports what is defending ONE passage out of your current internal
area -- both ordinary ICE and any active Hostile ICE Construct.

While you are connected to a NET host:

    run IceScan <direction>

``<direction>`` is a single word -- the same direction you would use to
pass through that gate (for example "north", "up", "drawbridge"). You can
also run it by its local file number.

The report shows:

the passage's configured ICE identity and strength (if any
    protection is currently active there)
whether protection there has been disabled or destroyed
whether a Hostile ICE Construct is currently active there, and its
current strength -- or that the gate is unprotected by any HICE

A gate that was never configured with a Hostile ICE Construct and a gate
whose HICE simply isn't active right now report identically ("unprotected
by any Hostile ICE Constructs") -- IceScan does not reveal which.

IceScan needs 1 unit of free RAM while it runs and releases it when the
scan finishes. The stored copy stays on your deck and can be run again.

IceScan only reports. It does not defeat anything, alert anyone by itself,
or change any host's security.
