citynet coverage detail (Citynet Coverage)

CityNET Coverage

CityNET is the local network infrastructure used by LinkComs.

A functional LinkCom still needs local CityNET service before it can
communicate through the city network.

Three things matter:

the LinkCom exists and is functional
    its network presence is online
the current location has CityNET coverage

Coverage supplies local network service. It does not create, repair,
install, or automatically activate a LinkCom.

A Character may therefore have a perfectly functional LinkCom and still
receive:

CityNet service is unavailable at your location.

while standing in a coverage dead zone.

CityNET coverage belongs to the physical location. Moving between Rooms
can therefore gain or lose service without changing the LinkCom itself.
